The hotels enchanting location, directly at the lake front, offers a unique variety of possibilities. The valley station of the Dachsteinbahn is only 5 minutes by car. The Dachsteinbahn will bring you directly to the famous Dachsteinhöhlen and the hiking area of Dachstein/Krippenstein. In winter, skiing fans can make use of the free shuttle service to get to the slopes of Freestyle Arena Krippenstein or the family skiing area of Dachstein-West.

Food & beverage

Our restaurant offers delicious home-style cooking with fresh produce from our region. Occasional barbeques and themed evenings add highlights to the menu.
The restaurant opens from 12 noon until 2 pm and from 6 pm until 9 pm during the summer, and from 6 pm until 9 pm only during the winter.
Coffee, pastries and small dishes are served all day long.

Room information

The 18 double and 6 single rooms are all equipped with ensuite facilities and satellite TV. Most rooms have a balcony, offering a great panoramic view on the lake. The rooms are decorated in a modern and timeless style with light-coloured wooden furniture and laminate flooring. Most of the bathrooms have been renovated in Mediterranean style.

The village of Obertraun is the perfect starting point for trips to the salt mines of Hallstatt or Dachstein. The Salzkammergut region, listed as world heritage, boasts many picturesque towns and stunning nature. It is ideal for nature and culture enthusiasts, offering many opportunities to spend an unforgettable holiday. Sport fans can also indulge in climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, paragliding, diving and horseback riding.

Travel information

By car:
- Coming via the A10 motorway take the exit in the direction of Golling and
continue via
Abtenau and Golling in the direction of Hallstatt.
- From Hallstatt continue through the tunnel in the direction of Obertraun.
- In Obertraun follow the signs until you reach the hotel.

By train:
- From the main station in Obertraun it is a 5 minute’s walk to the hotel.
